Atarah Temple Dresses

So I wanted to finally get my own temple clothing, but couldn't really find a dress that I liked. There were really cute ones that looked great, but they were always sold out and kind of expensive. Adam told me that if they were too expensive and always sold out I should start my own company.
I got some samples made and I'm finally happy with the dress, so I'm ordering the first run from the manufacturer.I also wanted to use the business to help give back so I've decided that for every dress sold, I will donate $5 to the Temple Patron Assistance Fund. I feel so lucky to live close by to the temple and get to attend it all the time, and I hope that I will be able to help others enjoy going too.

April Showers

I don't often help host showers, but when I do, I usually host two in a row. It's been two years since I co-hosted a shower and helping with these two showers was a lot of fun. I really enjoy organizing events and celebrating milestones in my friends' lives.

M'kynzi's Bridal Shower

It was just a lovely spring day and one of the first really sunny days this year. Several of us even got faint sunburns. It was so much fun to celebrate M'kynzi and her upcoming wedding. I loved catching up with former roommates and grad school friends. Lauren and I wanted to host a classy brunch for M'kynzi because if I were to pick one word to describe her, it would be classy.

Brooke's Bridal Shower

Cait was visiting from New York so it was the perfect time to have a shower for Brooke and her baby boy. Cait is extremely created and made so many cute decorations. Brooke loves to travel so we aimed for a travel/adventure themed shower. I am so excited for her to become a mom!

The following week I started a new job at Grow. I have really enjoyed the transition into the tech field. I love the flexibility and autonomy. I am working as a data consultant and helping small businesses and nonprofits understand and view their data. Here's the view from my desk and the view out of the window by me.

Michelle's and Angela's Going Away Party

Susan threw a going away party for Michelle and me before we started our new jobs. I can see why Susan and I became fast friends--we both enjoy hosting parties.

Anniversary Trip to Goblin Valley

Even though we've lived in Utah for almost 10 years, we both have quite a few parks and landmarks that we haven't visited. We wanted to head south for better weather. It had been a long winter in part due to the weather and in part due to me having tonsil surgery in January.

We decided to spend a couple of days in a yurt inside Goblin Valley State Park to celebrate our 3rd anniversary. The location of the yurt was breathtaking.

Out of all the parks we have been to, Goblin Valley would be the most fun for kids (or those who are kids at heart) because you can climb on everything. Also, they allow dogs which is pretty great. The yurt were we stayed did not allow dogs so Hudson had to stay home.
